Abs (Abdominals)

Training Movements: Hanging Knee Raises, bicycle crunch, cable crunch, and hanging leg raises

ABS: The abs are a huge web consisting of many muscles that all have a similar function. When we say Abs, we are usually referring to the Rectus Abdominis aka the “6-pack.”

The rectus abdominis works to flex the spine, rotate the torso, and resist spinal extension (prevent your lower back from arching inwards).

INSERTION: Xiphoid process
