How To Shred & Sauté King Oyster Mushrooms
- Using a cheese grader or a fork, shred the mushrooms downwards by pushing the fork and dragging it downwards, then pull away the shreds. Repeat until the mushroom is shredded (rotate the mushroom and use another side). Do this for all the mushrooms.
- Place the shredded mushroom in a bowl an stir in the seasonings.
- Now gently fry in a fry pan with cooking spray, don’t over cook and stir to make sure its not sticking, once the mushrooms start to release their liquids and are hot, turn off and give to one more stir.
- Now use the warm mixture in your favourite sandwich, burrito bowl or salad.
